Assessment and Rating Overview
At Kidz Galore, we pride ourselves on providing the highest possible level of care for the children and families who attend our centres. For the last 29 years, we have demonstrated this commitment through continuous assessment under the National Childcare Accreditation System.
Transition to the New Assessment and Rating System
With the change from Accreditation to the new ‘Assessment and Rating’ System, each of our centres has been re-assessed and measured against the National Quality Framework and National Quality Standards for Early Years Education.
National Quality Areas
To receive an “Exceeding” rating, a centre must meet or exceed standards in the following seven Quality Areas:
- Educational Program and Practice
- Children’s Health and Safety
- Physical Environment
- Staffing Arrangements
- Relationships with Children
- Collaborative Partnerships with Families and Communities
- Leadership and Service Management
Achieving Excellence in 2023
In 2023, two of our centres received an Exceeding Rating across all seven quality areas, marking a significant achievement. This accomplishment places us among an elite group, as only 20 centres across Western Australia have reached this level of excellence.
We take great pride in this distinction and remain committed to upholding these high standards of care across all our services.
Our Philosophy
We take pride in our aesthetically beautiful environments where children can engage with nature within a play-based learning environment. We believe routine is necessary to enhance children’s sense of security and wellbeing, allowing for spontaneity and flexibility. We believe in equity, inclusion and honouring diversity and advocate for children’s rights and dignity. We acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the traditional owners of the land on which our centre is built.

Selecting the right centre for your family is an important decision, and we’re here to support you every step of the way. We invite you to visit our centres, meet our dedicated team, and learn about our philosophy and approach to early learning. During the tour, you’ll have the opportunity to explore our indoor and outdoor play areas and ask any questions, ensuring you feel confident in your choice.
The enrolments and waiting lists for by each centre is managed by our Head Office, at Kidz Galore, City West.
Tours are available from Monday to Friday, between 9:00am and 11:00am.
