Kidz Galore is a respected local provider of early childhood education and care, supporting children aged 0–5 years. Established in 1995 and proudly owned by three families, the organisation is led by Director Sue Turner, who oversees operations across all centres.
Now celebrating 30 years of service under the same management, Kidz Galore continues to deliver high-quality education and care to Perth families. With five centres located in West Perth, North Perth, Nedlands, and the UWA precinct, we are committed to nurturing young minds in environments that feel like home.

Tailored For Babies And Toddlers
Situated on the University of Western Australia campus, Kidz Galore provides a licensed early learning environment tailored for babies and toddlers. From the very beginning, each child is supported with nurturing care and meaningful opportunities to grow, explore, and thrive.
Our UWA Early Learning Centre is thoughtfully designed to meet the needs of children in their earliest years, offering a rich, play-based program that encourages curiosity and development at their own pace.
We are proud to operate under the National Quality Standard, providing a safe and welcoming space where children feel valued, supported, and ready for every child’s learning journey.
Comprehensive Early Learning Services
At Kidz Galore Early Learning Centre, we offer a distinctive early learning experience that places each child’s development, education, and emotional well-being at the heart of everything we do. Our philosophy is grounded in the belief that children learn best in environments where they feel safe, supported, and inspired to explore.
Our team of expert educators and qualified early childhood teachers work closely with families to deliver a program that goes beyond the basics. Designed to foster curiosity, independence, and resilience, our approach encourages children to become confident learners who are actively engaged in the world around them.
THRASS
THRASS – which stands for Teaching Handwriting, Reading and Spelling Skills – forms an integral part of the educational foundation at Kidz Galore. Our long-standing relationship with Denyse Ritchie, co-founder of the THRASS Institute, supports our commitment to delivering high-quality literacy experiences for every child.
At Kidz Galore, the THRASS phonetics program is embedded across all our services and age groups. Working closely with Denyse, an Honorary Chair of Literacy and Fellow at Murdoch University, ensures our educators and early childhood teachers are equipped with the expertise to foster strong oral language development from birth and deliver exceptional literacy outcomes.
Educators regularly attend training through the THRASS Institute to keep their knowledge current and their practice effective. We also welcome parents to join us in workshops with Denyse, helping families implement THRASS at home and create consistent, supportive learning environments for their children.
KIDDO
At Kidz Galore, we are proud to deliver the KIDDO program, designed to boost physical literacy during a time when children are less active than ever. Developed from leading research at The University of Western Australia, KIDDO supports children to build confidence, coordination, and a lifelong love of movement. Delivered in collaboration with children, families, and educators, the program is embedded across our services. Kidz Galore @ UWA recently received an Exemplar Award for its outstanding commitment to children’s physical development.
We also embrace innovation through our ongoing Digital Technology Research Project with Curtin University. This collaboration led to the development of a digital technology policy that has significantly enhanced children’s learning. With guidance from sector experts, educators, staff, families, and children have built their understanding of how to use digital tools safely and effectively in early learning environments.
These initiatives reflect our commitment to holistic, forward-thinking education that prepares children for a bright and balanced future.
Guidance Beyond Academic Education
At Kidz Galore, our support goes beyond academics. We nurture healthy emotional development, provide breastfeeding guidance for parents, and teach the essential life skills that help children flourish now and into the future.
We are deeply committed to contemporary, evidence-informed practice and actively engage in research and professional learning that strengthens the early childhood sector. Our long-standing partnership with Semann and Slattery, a leading consultancy with over 25 years of experience, enriches our practice. Our educators regularly attend their conferences in Perth and interstate, drawing on their research-driven insights to embed reflective, inclusive, and innovative approaches in our services.
Diversity and inclusion are central to our philosophy. We work closely with Tasha Alach from Autism Inclusive, along with Communicare and the NDIS, to secure funding and support tailored inclusion strategies for children. Our goal is to ensure every child, regardless of background or ability, feels safe, supported, and seen within an environment where every family feels welcomed and valued.
Transparent and Affordable with Child Care Subsidy Support
At Kidz Galore, we believe every family should have access to high-quality early learning. That’s why we offer affordable fees across our services, ensuring more families can benefit from our nurturing and educational programs.
Eligible families may also access the Child Care Subsidy (CCS), helping to ease the cost of early learning and care. In addition, we proudly support the Australian Government’s initiative to guarantee a minimum of 72 hours (or three days) of subsidised care per fortnight for all CCS-eligible families.
Our goal is to make early education not only enriching but also accessible and affordable for every child and their family.
Easy Enrolment and Eligibility Information
Enrolling your child at Kidz Galore is a simple and supportive process, designed to ensure a smooth transition for both children and families. Whether you’re just starting your early learning journey or transferring from another service, we’re here to help every step of the way.
We encourage families to get in touch to arrange a tour of our centre and ask any questions. All enrolment forms are easily accessible, and our team is available to guide you through the process.
We also recommend checking your eligibility for the Child Care Subsidy (CCS), which can help reduce your fees. The application is straightforward, and we’re happy to assist with any queries.
We’re currently welcoming new enrolments for our July and January intakes. Places are limited, so we encourage you to reach out early to secure your child’s spot.
How Kidz Galore Supports Your Child’s Future Development
At Kidz Galore, we’re more than a childcare provider; we’re a committed partner in your child’s development. Our educators work closely with each child to create personalised learning plans that lay strong foundations for future growth.
We understand the vital role nutrition plays in early development. Guided by current research, our qualified chefs create tailored menus designed to support children’s health, learning, and wellbeing. These menus are developed in consultation with children, families, educators, and nutritionists to ensure the best outcomes for every child.
As an allergy-aware service, we take all dietary requirements seriously. Our staff are fully trained in food handling, first aid, and CPR, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all children in our care.

Book a Tour
Selecting the right centre for your family is an important decision and we’re here to support you every step of the way. We invite you to visit our centres, meet our dedicated team and learn about our philosophy and approach to early learning. During the tour, you’ll have the opportunity to explore our indoor and outdoor play areas and ask any questions, ensuring you feel confident in your choice.
The enrolments and waiting lists for each centre are managed by our Head Office, at Kidz Galore, City West
Tours are available from Monday to Friday, between 9:00am and 11:00am.
